Faiaz is a graduate student and merit fellowship recipient at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego. He is passionate about learning, social impact, improving public policies and translating research into policy practice to empower people. Previously, he has worked in management consulting, local government in Canada, and at the United Nations (UN). Having lived and worked in three continents, he enjoys meeting new people, visiting novel places and learning about diverse cultures and their histories. Outside of work, you can find him catching up with friends, reading voraciously, listening to podcasts, running long distances, hiking beautiful trails, or writing for his blog.
