Princess Luna is a Research Assistant for the Center on Gender Equity and Health with the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. She supports several global projects under the research portfolio of Dr. Rebecka Lundgren.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Public Health with a minor in Women’s Health at San Francisco State University. There, she interned with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the University of California, San Francisco to research and improve the accessibility of COVID-19 testing for people experiencing homelessness and staff in congregate shelters. She values health equity, social justice, and cultural humility and is passionate about promoting equitable access to healthcare for individuals in underserved communities.
She is working towards applying for a Master’s degree within the next year. She enjoys exercising with her two dogs, traveling, and eating various cuisines.
