Jade Diego is a Research Program Manager at the Center on Gender Equity and Health (GEH) at the University of California, San Diego. She works with Dr. Kathryn Barker to support projects in East and West Africa and with the GEH Leadership Team to advance the Center’s strategy and goals. Jade brings over 15 years of experience in international development, holding both program management and business development roles and working across sectors. As a consultant she coached and supported a broad range of NGOs with strategic planning, program management, and business development services. Prior to consulting, she held positions with Management Sciences for Health, Social Impact, and Catholic Relief Services and lived in Cameroon, Rwanda, and Mali. She holds a master’s in international relations and development studies.
