Research Project Coordinator

Princess Luna is a Research Project Coordinator at the Center on Gender Equity and Health for the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. She supports several global projects under the research portfolio of Dr. Rebecka Lundgren, specifically Growing Up GREAT!, the Social Norms Learning Collaboratives, Adolescent Transition West Africa, and Agency for All. Additionally, she supports Dr. Lotus McDougal’s research in the GENDER Project.

Princess received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Public Health with a minor in Women’s Health at San Francisco State University. There, she interned with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the University of California, San Francisco to research and improve the accessibility of COVID-19 testing for people experiencing homelessness in congregate shelters. She values health equity, social justice, and cultural humility and is passionate about promoting equitable access to healthcare for individuals in underserved communities.

Outside of work, Princess is currently working towards a master’s degree. She also enjoys exercising, traveling, and eating food from cuisines all around the world.
