Araz is the primary lead on Redcap survey development and data management for the SASEA team. She also conducts focus groups with SASEA community members and takes part in qualitative research analysis. Araz graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Public Health. Her research interests include maternal and child health, refugee and displaced populations, and epidemiology of war and conflict. Araz loves traveling, hiking, and gardening during her free time.
